Introduction
Jason is well known for his abilities as a deal maker and for finding pragmatic, commercial solutions to our clients' problems.
Jason Radford is the Division Co-Chair for Corporate, which incorporates our corporate transactions, tax and private client services practices.
Over a period of 30 years, Jason has been involved in many aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions including joint ventures, M&A deals, fund raisings, project finance and PPP transactions. He has worked across numerous jurisdictions including the UK, U.S., Europe and Asia. His market reputation is reflected in him being one of a very few number of lawyers to have been ranked in both the Chambers UK and Chambers US legal directories.
Jason is a member of the Firm's Global Leadership Team and has previously been a member of the Ashurst Board.

- Universities Superannuation Scheme | Lead partner | 2025-2026 | Advising on the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Dublin EfW facility from Encyclis, an EQT portfolio company.
- Global Infrastructure Partners | Partner | 2025-2026 | Advising on the CCS platform joint venture with ENI.
- Equitix, Swingford and KDM Power | Lead Partner | 2024-2025 | Advising on the disposal of 88% of Electricity North West Limited, the owner of c.60,000km of electricity distribution networks, to Iberdrola S.A..
- iCON Infrastructure | Partner | [2025] | Advising on the acquisition of Meinhardt Group, a waste management group located in the Rhine-Main region of Germany.
- CK Infrastructure Holdings and sister companies | Lead Partner | 2024 | Advising on the acquisition of an onshore wind portfolio from Aviva Investors for £350 million.
- Tetragon Financial Group and Equitix Limited | Lead Partner | 2024-2025 | Advising on the sale of a 16.1% stake in Equitix Limited, the leading mid-market energy and infrastructure fund manager, to Hunter Point Capital.

- Swiss Life Asset Management AG and Schroders Greencoat LLP | Lead Partner | 2023 | Advising on the acquisition of Equans Urban Energy's district heating and cooling networks in the UK.
- Equitix Limited | Lead Partner | 2021-2022 | Advising in relation to the £2.5 billion merger of MapleCo and Calisen, two of the leading smart metering businesses in the UK.
- Apollo Infrastructure Opportunities | Lead Partner | 2024 | Advising on the acquisition of a 49,99% stake, from Juan and Jose Esteban Conesa, in Primafrio S.A., a leading cold storage and logistics business.
