Introduction

Jane is a strategic employment law adviser experienced in managing executive employment issues, industrial relations strategy including in the context of corporate restructuring and employment litigation.

Jane Harvey advises clients in both the private and public sector on all aspects of employment and industrial relations law. She has particular experience in advising on the management of individual employment issues including in relation to senior executives, cross-border employment issues and strategic employment and industrial relations issues in the context of corporate restructuring. Jane regularly conducts employment related litigation including general protections claims, unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, anti-bullying applications, enterprise agreement and industrial disputes, breach of contract claims and post-employment restraint proceedings.

Jane advises clients across a broad range of industries including financial services, energy and resources, manufacturing, retail, health and professional services in relation to contractual arrangements, remuneration including incentives, superannuation, enterprise bargaining, industrial action, workplace investigations including whistleblower investigations and termination of employment. Jane assists clients to achieve their commercial aims by managing people-related risks and finding solutions to complex employee situations.
