Introduction
Jamie provides assistance to clients’ in-house counsel through secondment or other support arrangements for a wide variety of needs.
Jamie M. Nystrom has helped client counsel in everything from software licensing, general legal support, and the creation and management of information security response workflows, to the creation of legal management solutions that drive efficiencies and productivity across legal teams. He also has assisted with drafting legal playbooks for use by in-house and external counsel that consolidate standard legal guidance for quick reference.
Working as part of a dynamic team, Jamie handles tasks including quality control, privilege logs, and contract data management by utilizing the latest technology platforms, such as Relativity and Gatekeeper. He employs diverse subject matter knowledge and experience to identify key documents and analyze issues to help develop and refocus trial strategies.
Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Jamie worked with the Documentation Center of Cambodia to provide legal support in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. He also worked at a firm specializing in employment law issues and served as an arbitrator for consumer automobile disputes.
