Introduction
James focuses on derivative transactions, structured finance and associated areas, as well as related regulatory issues.
James is experienced in derivative transactions across various asset classes, as well as associated areas, such as repackaging, repo, securities lending, prime brokerage and margin loans. Currently, James has a particular focus on complex collateralised funding structures, including in emerging markets.
In addition to transactional work, James regularly advises on regulatory issues relating to derivatives, including margin rules, clearing, benchmark reform and bank resolution.
James acts for various international banks, investment firms and funds, amongst other clients.
