Jake serves as a trusted adviser to clients and helps them successfully complete complex construction and design projects throughout the United States and abroad.

Jake Weisbecker counsels on and negotiates project contracts on behalf of private and public owners across the United States and international jurisdictions at all stages of the construction process. His broad range of clients includes private building owners, technology companies, apparel retailers, developers, professional sports teams, entertainment venues, schools and universities, and residential owners. He helps clients achieve their goals by understanding their needs and developing contracts and approaches tailored to each project’s circumstances. 

Jake’s practice ranges from small tenant improvement projects to $100M+ large-scale new construction. He annually handles contracts that cumulatively reach more than a billion dollars in value. His construction experience includes:

Jake drafts and negotiates complex design and construction contracts using both modified industry standard contract templates and customized agreements. He has experience with all the major project delivery methods, including design-build, general contractor and construction manager, engineer-procure-construct, and construction manager at risk, among others. 

In addition to his front-end transactional practice, Jake also regularly counsels clients during the construction process to help identify and resolve issues that may arise. When a dispute cannot be avoided, Jake advises clients on mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
