Introduction
Jacob represents and advises institutional and individual clients at every stage of complex civil litigation, regulatory and white-collar proceedings, and internal investigations.
Jacob Taber has represented leading publicly traded companies in the United States and abroad, as well as hedge funds, global banks, and their employees. He has represented clients in state and federal courts and in investigations before the SEC and DOJ. He has also secured precedent-setting victories in appellate courts.
Jacob maintains an active pro bono practice. He has represented an Alabama death row inmate challenging his judicial override sentence; an undocumented immigrant appealing his procedurally improper removal proceedings; a national anti-gun violence nonprofit as amicus curiae in support of an Administrative Procedure Act challenge to regulations concerning the sale of ghost guns; and individuals and nonprofits challenging a Mississippi anti-LGBTQ+ statute.
