Jacob works in the firm’s Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.
Jacob Levenson is a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He holds a Master of Science degree in materials science and engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida, as well as a certificate in semiconductor and electronic materials.
Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Jacob worked as an integrated circuit failure analysis engineer, where he spearheaded more than 100 root-cause failure analysis investigations of advanced semiconductor devices. He also co-developed an internal database of process technologies and published and presented multiple conference papers on novel microscopy-based failure analysis techniques.
At Ashurst Perkins Coie, Jacob’s practice encompasses a variety of technology areas, including materials science, AI and software-based applications, diagnostic medical devices, telecommunications, and computer networking.
