Introduction

Inga is a seasoned restructuring and insolvency counsel with over 30 years' experience in complex cross-border matters, policy advocacy, and academic contribution to the field.

Inga is a counsel in our finance, funds & restructuring practice based in London.

She has over 30 years' experience advising distressed and insolvent companies, their stakeholders, and insolvency officeholders. Inga has particular knowledge in large complex domestic and cross-border restructurings and insolvencies across many industries and sectors, including particular knowledge of comparative cross-border regimes 

Inga is Chair of the Insolvency Lawyers' Association Technical Committee and a member of the ad hoc experts' group to the Insolvency Service Policy Team. In that capacity she has had more than nine years' experience providing advice on policy development and draft legislation, including on the passage of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2022 through Parliament. In that capacity, she regularly reviews and comments on proposed legislation and is involved in its preparation. 

She is also a distinguished practitioner member of the Commercial Law Centre at the University of Oxford and an editor of the upcoming 7th edition of the leading practitioner text: Lightman & Moss on 'The Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies'. Inga speaks regularly at restructuring and industry events.
