Hosub Lee

Dr. Hosub Lee has more than 15 years of experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, data analytics, human-computer interaction, and perceptual multimedia quality research.  

Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Hosub spent more than a decade in advanced research and development at corporate research centers for a global technology leader in the United States and South Korea. He has led human-subject studies for AI-based video enhancement and partnered with a private research university on image quality analysis. He also investigated human perception of 4K and 8K visual quality as chair of the 8K Association Visual Quality Committee. 

Hosub is the sole or lead inventor on 12 granted U.S. patents, primarily in AI and software. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Communications Magazine and ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction.
