Introduction
Henry is an experienced real estate partner in London, advising leading developers, institutions, corporate and government bodies on complex property matters.
Henry has significant experience in commercial property matters, including developments, acquisitions, lettings and financings. He advises on some of the most high profile development schemes in the UK, and was Acting Head of Legal at a major London developer during a secondment lasting more than a year.
- Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield | Henry has advised URW for over a decade on the development, structuring, financing and letting of their major mixed-use, retail-led schemes at Westfield Stratford City, Westfield London and Croydon.
- Sellar Properties | Advised on the development of The Shard and The Place at London Bridge.
- Stanhope plc | Advised in relation to the redevelopment of Rothschild & Co's headquarters at New Court in the City of London, the development of the Regent Palace Hotel site for the Crown Estate near Piccadilly Circus, the development and letting of major office parks on brownfield sites at Chiswick Park and Hemel Hempstead and a proposed life-sciences led regeneration of a 5.5 acre site on London's South Bank at Royal Street, Lambeth.
- A global real estate investor | Advised on a new long-term lease with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) for King Edward Court in Paternoster Square.
- Transport for London | Advised on major developments including the new 285,000 sq ft Soho Place/One Oxford Street office, retail and leisure development with Derwent London; the 145,000 sq ft for Bloom Clerkenwell office, retail and amenity development with HB Reavis; and the 136,000 sq ft 354/358 Oxford Street prime retail and residential development with Hines.
- Transport for London | Advised on the West London Partnership joint venture with Barratt Homes to deliver homes on under-utilized sites across West London. The first site at Bollo Lane, Acton is Europe's largest Passivhaus Scheme, delivering 900 homes with 50 per cent. affordable housing
- Greater London Authority | Advised on its procurement of a development partner for the £3 billion regeneration of the Royal Albert Dock in London's Docklands
Old Oak Park Development Corporation | Advised on the £9.8 billion regeneration of Old Oak, West London. - A British multinational oil and gas company | Advised on the sale and leaseback of its International Centre for Business Technology, a purpose built office and research campus near Heathrow, for a price in excess of £330 million.
- A British multinational oil and gas company | Advised on its pre-letting of a 230,000 sq ft head office at 25 North Colonnade, Canary Wharf.
