Introduction

Harry Thimont is a corporate and M&A partner based in London.

Harry acts for FTSE, AIM and international corporate clients, as well as investment banks and financial advisory firms. His areas of practice include complex public and private M&A, capital markets transactions, takeover and activism defense, as well as general UK listed company advice. Harry acts for clients across a range of sectors, including construction, defense, energy and consumer.

Harry is ranked in Chambers as an 'up and coming' partner and has been recognized by MergerLinks as a 'rising star' for UK-listed company transactions. He is also a member of the Company Law Committee of the City of London Law Society.

Harry joined Ashurst Perkins Coie as a trainee in 2012 and has been seconded to our Madrid office, the J.P. Morgan M&A Legal Team in London and, as a senior associate, to Rothschild & Co in London. Harry holds an honors degree in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.
