Emily advises and represents corporate policyholders across industries on a wide range of coverage issues.

Emily Dowling represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance disputes, pursuing coverage on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries such as luxury retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing. Emily has experience with a variety of policy types, including commercial general liability, directors' and officers' liability, employment practices liability, cyber, andauto and property damage. Her services include counseling clients through policy language negotiations, noticing claims, and representing clients in declaratory judgment actions and mediation. Emily also has experience in the mass-tort bankruptcy space, having formerly represented clients seeking to resolve mass liabilities under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. 

Prior to her work at the firm, Emily served as a law clerk to the Hon. April M. Perry of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
