Divya advises clients on technology, media, and IP transactions, and provides product counseling across a variety of industries, from software to media to e-commerce.

Divya Taneja represents emerging growth and established companies in the gaming, entertainment, software, music, social media, e-commerce, and sports industries. She has a deep understanding of the technology and business drivers underlying product innovation and agreements in these areas. 

Divya's experience includes structuring and negotiating complex technology licensing, development, commercialization, and similar transactions. She also has extensive experience in the media industry and has advised on agreements for major content owners and platforms for the licensing of music, television, film, and other content for transmitting, streaming, or downloading through traditional and emerging distribution methods, including video games, virtual reality experiences, and blockchain applications.  

In addition, Divya advises clients on IP and technology issues relating to M&A, strategic collaborations, and other business transactions.  

Divya’s pro bono practice includes IP-related work for clients through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, as well as experience working on clemency and anti-trafficking immigration matters.
