David counsels clients on IP matters, focusing on patents in the fields of mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies, medical devices, electrical arts, software, and business methods.
David Laub's practice emphasizes the preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign utility and design patents, IP due diligence, counseling and licensing transactions, and litigation of patent and trade secret matters.
David manages large multinational patent portfolios and is experienced in the strategic development, enforcement, maintenance, and licensing of patents on a worldwide basis. He has been responsible for the preparation and prosecution of hundreds of utility and design patents, has identified core technologies for patent protection, and has obtained and enforced patent protection for these core technologies.
