Introduction
Dana assists clients in the fintech industry with the acquisition and maintenance of state money transmitter licenses.
Dana Talant guides clients with the application and compliance procedures for money transmitter licenses, as well as change-of-control acquisitions.
During a secondment to a global payment facilitator, she developed civil legal process response procedures and policies, creating and maintaining procedures and guidelines, and advised the client on recommended international civil request responses, transfers of funds, and cross-border transfers of data.
She also has experience in international human rights law, having worked for the United Nations Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights and attending the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.
