Introduction
Dallan is recognized for his strong track record advising on cross border private capital transactions, and in particular in the energy, renewables and infrastructure sectors.
Dallan Pitman is a partner in our corporate transactions practice. Dallan has broad corporate experience with a focus on complex, cross border mergers and acquisitions and joint venture arrangements as well as coinvestments, secondaries, minority investments and convertible and preference investment. In particular, Dallan focuses on private capital transactions in the infrastructure and energy sectors, with significant experience acting for infrastructure funds, private capital and corporates investing into a broad spectrum of infrastructure and energy asset classes.
Dallan was based in our Brisbane office from 2013 to 2018, and is now based in the Ashurst Perkins Coie London office. He is qualified in Queensland, Australia and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

- BlackRock | Advised on its agreement to dispose of a 39.25% stake in the Lynn and Inner Dowsing offshore wind farms to Macquarie.
- GLIL | on its acquisition of a minority stake in Cornerstone, the UK’s largest mobile towers business.
- Abertis Infraestructuras | on the £34.5m sale of its 33.3% interest in Road Management Group Limited to InfraRed Capital Partners Limited.
- Northleaf Capital | on its acquisition of a 90% interest in Douglas Terminals, and a 33.33% interest in Max Terminals, comprising bulk storage terminals located in Ghent, Belgium
- Innagreen | Advised on its acquisition of Longhedge Solar Farm and Dunbeg wind farm.
- Voltis | Advised on a joint venture with Chint Solar to develop a circa 5-GW portfolio of renewable energy and battery storage projects in the UK.
- Antin Infrastructure Partners | Advised on the establishment of the world's first large scale tire recycling group, formed between Antin Infrastructure Partners, Scandinavian Enviro Systems and tyre manufacturing giant Michelin.
- Basalt Infrastructure Partners | Advised on the acquisition of Digital Infrastructure and Full Fibre.
- Basalt Infrastructure Partners | Advised on the merger of FullFibre and Zzoomm, two fibre network providers operating in the UK.
- Ashtead Technology | Advised on its acquisition of J2 and Seatronics, global providers of subsea survey and rental equipment.
- CPT Capital | Advised on its Series F minority stake acquisition in Zepz, a digital cross-border payments platform operating two market-leading brands (WorldRemit and Sendwave).
- Qair | Advised on its acquisition of 90% of Greenswitch Capital, a renewable energy developer in the UK, focusing on the development of Solar, Wind and Battery Storage projects
- GLIL | Advised on its acquisition of a minority stake in Cornerstone, the UK’s largest mobile towers business, consisting of a nationwide network used by both Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone UK as anchor tenants.
- Diamond Generating Europe Limited | Advised on its disposal of its stake in the Moray East offshore windfarm to INPEX Renewable Energy Europe Limited.
- Boralex | Advised on its acquisition of the 338 MW of wind and solar power and energy storage development projects in the UK from Infinergy Limited.
