Conor Funston is a counsel in our finance, funds and restructuring practice. He focuses on fintech, debt capital markets and Islamic finance matters. He has substantial experience in advising clients including corporates, sovereigns, regulators and central banks on a wide range of matters. His practice includes advising both issuers and underwriters on debt capital markets issues in addition to advising clients on the structuring and implementation of blockchain technology and crypto asset projects. Conor also has extensive experience in structuring and advising on Shari'ah compliant financing transactions.
In addition to his transactional work, Conor has also advised government institutions, regulators and Central Banks on a range of issues including, the development and implementation of regulatory regimes for capital markets products in addition to the establishment of Central Bank Facilities.
