Introduction
Clint is an experienced global loans partner who deals with all aspects of banking and finance and acts for clients doing business across the Middle East.
Based in the Middle East since 2012, Clint deals with all aspects of banking and finance, including project finance, trade finance, real estate and development finance, Islamic finance, acquisition finance and asset-based lending.
Clint acts for a range of international and Middle East financial institutions, as well as advising borrowers on their loan and security documentation, and leads a team which has substantial regional and international cross-border experience.
- A syndicate of Middle Eastern banks | Advised on a US$1.5 billion conventional facility to be made available to a GCC-government department.
- A syndicate of Middle Eastern banks | Advised on a US$2.5 billion duel-trach (conventional and Islamic) facility to be made available to a GCC oil company.
- A Middle Eastern bank| Advised in relation to the restructuring of US$4.5 billion syndicated and bilateral facilities provided to a regional conglomerate.
- A UAE conglomerate| Advised on a US$227 million Islamic syndicated financing package for the development of 13 sites across the UAE.
- A UAE conglomerate| Advised on the acquisition of 25,000 hectares of agricultural land in Serbia, funded through a syndicated facility arranged by an international bank.
- The sponsors and project company| Advised on the syndicated and secured financing of the development of the hotel complex in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
- A Middle Eastern investment bank| Advised in relation to a US$25 million trade finance facility made available to an oil company, secured against the sale of receivables and other assets in Congo, Norway, Morocco and England.
- A Saudi investment company| Advised on a SAR1.4 billion syndicated Islamic facility for the acquisition of several malls in Saudi Arabia.
