Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is an insurance recovery litigator and counselor who assists corporate policyholders in all phases of insurance coverage disputes involving a broad range of commercial insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers, property, cyber, and errors and omissions. Brian also advises clients on representations and warranties insurance throughout all stages of corporate transactions. He is experienced in drafting and negotiating non-reliance letters, non-binding indication letters, insurance policies, and insurance binders.

Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Brian served as lead associate on multiple insurance coverage litigations, overseeing all stages of discovery. He is skilled in preparing and responding to pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. Since joining the firm, Brian has assisted with numerous claims resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars of insurance coverage for his clients.
