Introduction
Ben is an associate in the firm's Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.
Benjamin Cashdollar has experience assisting with prosecuting several patent applications and working with a variety of technologies, including medical devices and consumer appliances. Ben also performed freedom to operate searches, and drafted memorandums regarding obviousness-type double patenting and applicant naming requirements for patent applications having multiple inventors with varied assignment obligations.
While earning his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, Ben worked in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic to provide pro bono representation on IP matters to entrepreneurs and businesses in the greater Seattle area. In addition, he worked with CoMotion, the university's commercialization center, to perform patent landscape analyses for student inventors.
