Introduction
Barry helps clients resolve a wide variety of commercial cases, with a strong emphasis on litigating environmental disputes.
Barry G. Stratford defends clients nationwide in multiparty cleanup litigation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and related state laws, toxic torts under state law, and antitrust investigations and cases. He also assists clients with disputes involving trade secret misappropriation, construction liability, product liability, and sophisticated contract and business torts.
Barry manages discovery in large cases with significant discovery needs. He utilizes the latest technologies to create customized e-discovery litigation plans.
Active in contributing to the community, Barry's robust pro bono practice includes litigating civil rights issues and helping LGBTQ+ individuals with immigration matters. He represented same-sex couples in overturning Arizona's discriminatory marriage ban and successfully tried a pro bono case in federal court under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
