Introduction

Anne helps financial institutions, private equity investors and corporates structure and execute sophisticated financing transactions across European and international markets.

Anne Grewlich specifically advises in leveraged acquisition finance (leveraged buy-outs) and corporate lending transactions. She mainly represents financial institutions, debt funds as well as private equity funds and corporates.

In addition, Anne has significant knowledge and experience in advising major private equity investors and borrowers as well as leading German and international financial institutions. This includes debt funds in transactions involving senior, second lien, mezzanine, PIK, unitranche and high-yield structures as well as refinancings, recapitalizations and staple financings and the restructuring of such transactions.

She is also frequently recognized for advising on other banking law areas, including bilateral and syndicated loans, secured or unsecured.

Anne is qualified as a Solicitor (England & Wales and Ireland) and an Attorney at Law (New York). She studied Law at the Universities of Paris I, Paris II, Trinity College (Dublin) and Fordham Law School New York.

Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie in 2008, Anne gained working experience at White & Case as well as Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and in London.


  • Unitranche Lenders | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised on the unitranche financing of the acquisition by Cinven of Nutrisens, a clinical nutrition specialist backed by Sagard. Also advised on the establishment of a revolving credit facility agreement for general corporate purposes.
  • Insurance company | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised on the successful refinancing and recapitalization of SelectLine Group.
  • Adelis Equity Partners | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised on the financing of the majority stake in European IT Consultancy EITCO GmbH (EITCO). The transaction marks Adelis' successful market entry into Germany and supports the further growth of ECM specialist EITCO.
  • Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB) | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised on the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in Oehm und Rehbein GmbH (OR Technology) by funds advised by NORD Holding. The transaction marks the first investment of the third buyout fund ‘DMH III’.
  • Bank of Ireland | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised a lender consortium consisting of Bank of Ireland, ODDO BHF Private Debt, and CIC Private Debt on the initial financing of ebutec Group GmbH (“ebutec”), a portfolio company of funds advised by Ufenau Capital Partners.
  • Eurazeo | Lead Partner | 2025 | Advised on the financing of the acquisition of TTSP HWP Planungsgesellschaft mbH ("TTSP HWP") by Tikehau Capital.
