Introduction
Anna is a litigator who represents clients in complex civil disputes across a range of industries and subject matters.
Anna Ellison defends clients in multiclaimant litigation and has experience working through all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation..
Anna served as trial counsel in a bench trial, where she conducted cross-examinations and managed evidentiary issues. She also has significant motion practice and discovery experience, including drafting and arguing a federal motion to dismiss, as well as leading settlement discussions that resulted in a full release of claims with no monetary payment.
Earlier in her career, Anna gained experience with the federal judiciary and public sector through roles with the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and the Office of Congressional Ethics. As a former trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Division, Environmental Torts Branch, she litigated multibillion-dollar matters brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act and the Camp Lejeune Justice Act.
