Introduction
Angie has more than a decade of experience working on all phases of litigation from prelitigation to settlement and trial in federal and state courts.
Angie Young Kim has litigated on behalf of Fortune 500 clients in commercial litigation cases relating to securities class actions, pharmaceutical patents, torts, contracts, and antitrust. Angie enjoys making complex arguments understandable and telling a client's story in drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgments, trial memorandums, and appellate briefs.
Angie's recent experience includes representing major technology companies in California on matters involving unfair competition, negligence, defamation, misrepresentation, the Unruh Civil Rights Act, and breach of fiduciary duty. She has provided business advice and predispute counseling, active litigation advice and advocacy, as well as nonparty/third-party litigation counseling.
Angie earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Following law school, she was a law clerk for the Hon. Nora M. Manella of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Angie practiced in New York for several years prior to practicing in California.
