Angela is an experienced litigator who combines frontline legal experience with enterprise-wide strategic leadership.
Angela Pearson is the Global Co-General Counsel and Co-Chief Legal Officer and a Partner of Ashurst Perkins Coie.
Angela co-leads the global Office of General Counsel with Bates Larson. The Office of General Counsel is central to risk management at Ashurst Perkins Coie and advises on a wide range of legal, regulatory, operational, and strategic issues.
Angela is an experienced leader of firm governance in respect of Enterprise Risk Management, Responsible Business, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security. She is Compliance Officer of Legal Practice (SRA), Global Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer (SRA).
Angela was previously a Dispute Resolution Partner specializing in commercial litigation. She has also held a number of governance and management roles at the firm, including being a member of the Board and on the Executive Team.
She sits on the City of London Law Society Professional Rules and Regulation Committee and was Co-Chair of the IBA General Counsel Forum.
