Introduction

Ali represents technology and media companies in technology transactions and counsels them on a wide variety of matters, including IP, platform liability, and other product development issues.

Ali Mirsaidi’s work focuses on emerging and innovative technologies, interactive entertainment and video games, AI and machine learning, digital media, augmented reality and virtual reality, and software and cloud offerings. 

Ali assists clients in a variety of commercial transactions, including content, software, and data licenses; development agreements; hardware design, procurement, and manufacturing agreements; distribution and reseller agreements; master services agreements and consulting agreements; and branding agreements and licenses. He also advises clients on IP and technology issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, strategic collaborations, and other business transactions. 

Ali has extensive experience in the video game industry, helping his clients solve problems in every phase of game development, from concept to launch. His industry knowledge enables him to handle complex transactions, such as content licenses, collaboration agreements, development agreements, and publishing deals. His experience representing video game developers across major entertainment firms and rightsholders helps his clients enhance player experience and engagement. 

In addition to transactional work, Ali provides product counseling throughout the product development life cycle, from business strategy and product launch to commercialization and contract negotiations. He helps clients navigate the intricacies of software and model development, content, user experience, consumer protection, and marketing and advertising issues. In the field of AI, Ali counsels online platform providers and tool developers on content use and licensing concerns, model development issues, and risk management strategies, and leverages his extensive experience negotiating across from media and entertainment companies to help companies strategize on these matters.
