Introduction

Adwait is a member of the firm's Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.

Before joining Perkins Coie, Adwait Jawale served as a legal intern at the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, an advocacy intern at an intellectual property (IP) and telecommunications policy-focused public interest organization, and a student lawyer at Georgetown Law's Communications and Technology Law Clinic.

Adwait brings with him extensive hands-on technical experience in the mobile communications industry. For more than 14 years prior to attending law school, he served in various engineering subject matter expert roles at leading telecommunications companies such Sprint (now T-Mobile), Ericsson, and Cisco. He has led globally distributed engineering teams to deliver network automation, machine learning (ML), and network data analytics-based products and services to major wireless carriers, and has also managed national-scale Radio Access Network (RAN) performance planning and engineering projects.

Adwait received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a Technology Law and Policy scholar. He earned his M.S. in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, and his B.E. in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Mumbai.
