Adrienne Shin Ehrhardt is a privacy and technology transactions lawyer with experience counseling clients in a wide range of industries on complex privacy, security, legal, and regulatory matters. She also negotiates complex commercial transactions and counsels on AI issues, including AI use, governance, and licensing. Adrienne has extensive experience with issues relating to U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, as well as privacy programs and cybersecurity issues.  

Adrienne drafts and negotiates technology and software as a service agreements involving fintech, non-fungible tokens, AI, e-commerce, electronic vehicles, and educational technologies. She also helps clients build privacy compliance frameworks and counsels on developing products and services to comply with applicable privacy and security laws. 

Adrienne advises clients on issues relating to payment processing, including electronic, debit, and credit card payments; ACH authorizations; and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance. She also manages client data breach response, including advising on public relations strategies and notifying affected individuals and regulators. 

Prior to returning to private practice, Adrienne served as the lead in-house lawyer in privacy and data protection at CUNA Mutual Group, where she focused on all aspects of privacy and data management and managed data breach response, compliance with relevant laws, and issues relating to GLBA, FCRA, TCPA, and unfair business practices. 

Adrienne also served as associate general counsel at Land's End, Inc., where she managed litigation, counseled on internal legal matters, and negotiated and drafted transactional agreements. 

Adrienne has spoken on topics relating to methods and practices for managing and sharing data across various business lines and affiliates. She was a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School for students in a first-year legal research and writing course.
