Introduction
Aaron is a trial lawyer who handles bet-the-company disputes at the intersection of emerging technology, trade secrets, and high-value real estate.
Clients turn to Aaron Ver when a dispute threatens core IP, a signature transaction, or the viability of a business line. Aaron develops and executes strategies aligned with clients’ business goals, having served as a litigation secondee to a global company. He serves as an on-call adviser and outside counsel to foundation model developers, AI infrastructure and platforms, AI applications, blockchain infrastructure providers, data and electric vehicle infrastructure, software as a service, manufacturing, real estate, and retail companies. Aaron provides day-to-day guidance on trade secret protection, IP, and employment matters.
Aaron represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex disputes, including misappropriation and infringement claims concerning trade secrets and IP; post-closing litigation arising out of M&A deals or earnout provisions; and disputes among founders, partners, and departing executives, including fiduciary duty, buyout, restrictive covenant claims, consumer class actions, and other commercial disputes.
Aaron represents clients in complex real estate disputes concerning fraud and title claims, liabilities for guarantors and lenders, veil-piercing and alter ego claims, and commercial leases.
Aaron maintains an active pro bono practice. He was awarded Ashurst Perkins Coie’s pro bono leadership award for his trial victory protecting the constitutional rights of Native Hawaiians. Aaron has also been honored for his work supporting the Federal Pro Bono Project for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

2221 Park Place Partners v. 2221 Park Place Tenant et al.
Represent a tenant special purpose entity (SPE) and guarantor in a lease dispute against a landlord arising out of a lease exit. Landlord brought various claims against both the tenant SPE and the guarantor. All of the landlord’s claims against the guarantor for breach of lease and breach of guaranty were dismissed with prejudice.
300 Prospect Properties, Inc. v. 180 Sansome Street Tenant LLC, et al.
Represent a tenant special purpose entity in a lease dispute relating to tenant improvements, construction issues, and lease termination. The case settled on very favorable terms to the tenant, including full lease exit.
700 K Street NW Tenant LLC v. TMG 800 K Street LLC
Represent a tenant in a dispute against the landlord for failure to pay the tenant $6.8 million in allowance funds. Case settled two weeks after the complaint was filed on terms favorable to the tenant, which obtained all allowance funds owed.
BuildGroup v. 152 N. 3d Street Tenant LLC
Represent a tenant special purpose entity in a construction dispute with a general contractor relating to tenant improvements and construction issues. The case settled on very favorable terms for the tenant.
Landowner Affirmative Quiet Title
Represent a landowner in an affirmative suit for quiet title and punitive damages against real estate brokerage firms, a title insurance company, and lenders for fraudulent deed of trust recorded on the landowner’s property.
