With a background in finance law, and benefitting from experience gained through eight years in a non-legal Director level role with one of the major UK clearing banks, she turned her attention to the area of New Law in 2020. Prior to joining Advance by Ashurst Perkins Coie, Wendy was a senior advanced delivery lawyer for another multi-national law firm, developing and delivering legal-tech solutions for clients. As part of Advance, she now works seamlessly with the firm's legal advisory and risk consulting teams to provide fully integrated solutions tailored to client's needs.
