Tamara represents clients in the energy, retail, office, financial, healthcare, and renewable power sectors in the acquisition, development, financing, and divestiture of real estate projects.
Tamara L. McKinzie’s experience includes drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases, purchase and sale contracts, project finance agreements, and construction agreements.
She routinely advises investors, developers, and utilities on structuring mixed-use, multifamily, and industrial transactions and resolving zoning and other land use issues. In addition, she counsels clients on portfolio purchases, joint venture agreements, and secured and unsecured credit transactions.
Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Tamara represented borrowers and lenders in commercial and consumer transactions, including preparing and negotiating loan agreements, security instruments, and disclosures required by state and federal law.
