Katherine Williams has over 17 years' experience in the European and Middle East markets. She is a versatile lawyer with a broad practice advising banks, funds, sponsors, corporates, multi-laterals, credit enhancement providers, and institutional investors on a wide range of finance matters across the debt cycle, including in relation to infrastructure finance, leveraged finance, project finance, general corporate facilities and restructurings, using both conventional and Islamic or Shari’a compliant approaches.

She has considerable experience in-house, advising in relation both to financial and to corporate/commercial matters, having worked in the legal departments of a leading UAE bank, a UAE independent oil and gas company, and a large family-owned UAE investment group. She is adept at developing and implementing in-house standard form documentation and processes for corporates, financial institutions and private practice.
