Andrew Westcott

Andrew Westcott is an Expertise Counsel in Ashurst Perkins Coie's Litigation, Investigations & Advisory Division, where he tracks and explains legal developments, trains lawyers, advises on disputes issues, shares knowledge and drafts legal guidance.

Andrew practised extensively in corporate and commercial litigation, major torts and public law litigation and dispute resolution before moving into an expertise lawyer role in 2014.

Andrew acts as an in-house technical authority on commercial litigation issues. He has a particular interest in contract law, class actions and emerging trends in disputes.

Andrew is a member of the Council of Law Reporting in Victoria and has taught various LLB, JD and LLM law subjects at Melbourne and Monash Universities on a sessional basis.
