Jeongtaek Kim is a KJV partner in our corporate transaction practice at Ashurst Perkins Coie Korea JV. Her practice focuses on cross-border M&A, foreign investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, corporate governance matters, and a broad range of Korean regulatory issues.

Drawing on her extensive experience in Korean law matters, she advises multinational companies on market entry strategies, equity investments, corporate operations in Korea, and other regulatory matters. She is also experienced in advising on Korea aspects of cross-border financing transactions, including security arrangements. Jeongtaek further assists Korean clients with outbound investments and business expansion, helping clients navigate cross-border issues and achieve their strategic business objectives.

Her earlier experience also includes representing clients in a wide range of complex disputes arising from corporate and commercial transactions.

She is qualified in Korea. Prior to joining Ashurst Korea JV, she practised for many years at a prominent Korean law firm. She also gained in-house experience with a major Korean conglomerate, which has shaped her practical and balanced approach to client service.
