Christopher Clerihew

Christopher Clerihew is a counsel in our finance, funds & restructuring practice and a member of our Global Loans group.

Christopher focuses his practice on advising on complex domestic and cross-border acquisition financings and syndicated lending transactions. He has extensive experience in advising private equity sponsors, corporates, direct lenders, banks and other financial institutions on all aspects of domestic and cross-border leveraged buy-out financing, general corporate lending as well as real estate finance.

In addition, Christopher has knowledge in advising major private equity investors and borrowers as well as leading German and leading international financial institutions including debt funds in transactions involving senior, second lien and unitranche structures as well as refinancings, recapitalisations and the restructuring of such transactions.

Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie in 2024, Christopher has worked for a leading US law firm in Frankfurt for more than eight years.
