Abigail Frisch Vice

Abby Vice is a trusted resource for appellate advocacy and insight. Drawing on both government and private sector experience, she offers clients strategic, practical counsel. She has argued before three federal courts of appeals and advised on a wide range of subject matters, including administrative, antitrust, bankruptcy, constitutional, immigration, tax, and securities law.   

Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Abby was an appellate specialist at a national law firm. She successfully defended on appeal the dismissal of a securities class-action complaint in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, advised financial institutions and technology companies in high-profile litigation and regulatory matters, and represented numerous clients in merits-stage and certiorari-stage cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. Before that, Abby served as Bristow fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice. 

Earlier in her career, Abby worked as a certified public accountant at a national accounting firm, where she focused on audits of financial statements and internal controls—experience that informs her sophisticated approach to matters involving complex financial and regulatory issues.
