Ashurst Perkins Coie’s real estate litigation team strengthened with key partner hire
Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie announces the appointment of Sophie Schultz as partner in its real estate litigation practice in the UK, as the firm continues to invest in and expand its global real estate and litigation offerings.
Sophie is a real estate litigator advising institutional investors, developers, funders, sovereign wealth funds and corporates on complex, high-value property disputes, including development, landlord and tenant, rights of light, distressed assets and insolvency-related matters.

Sophie's appointment follows the successful combination of Ashurst with Perkins Coie to form Ashurst Perkins Coie on 29 June. Her arrival marks the ninth lateral hire in London since the two firms announced their intent to combine on 17 November 2025 and reflects Ashurst Perkins Coie commitment to invest in growing its real estate and litigation teams.
