Edlene is a member of the Intellectual Property practice at Ashurst Perkins Coie.
Edlene Miguel earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, president of the Intellectual Property Law Society and Women in Technology Law groups, and director of the Board of Advocates Technology & Intellectual Property branch.
Before law school, she worked as a software engineer developing data-driven personalized healthcare software used in medical diagnostics. She holds a M.C.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in applied math from Mary Baldwin University.
Edlene served as a summer associate and law clerk at the firm from 2023 to 2025.
