Introduction
Agastya is a technical advisor in the firm’s Patent Prosecution practice, with technical knowledge in molecular biology and computer science.
Agastya Sharma brings a multidisciplinary perspective to emerging technologies, supported by a strong research background. Before joining the firm, Agastya worked in the Office of Translation and Commercialization at Duke University while completing his graduate studies. He evaluated university-developed innovations across the agriculture, biotechnology, chemistry, machine learning, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors, contributing to several commercial licensing agreements and patent applications. His work included assessing competitive landscapes and advising inventors on pathways to market for emerging technologies.
