Introduction
Megan is an energy, environmental, and land use lawyer who advises many of the largest companies in the United States.
Megan Lin counsels owners, developers, and investors on complex, multijurisdictional projects—including large-scale campuses and data centers—guiding matters from site selection and acquisition through entitlements, permitting, construction, and operations.
Megan’s practice spans the full development lifecycle. With experience serving leading technology clients, she negotiates and structures development agreements, reciprocal easements, dedications, and public-private partnerships. Megan coordinates environmental review and permitting, addresses zoning and land use constraints, and develops compliance strategies that anticipate agency priorities and potential points of challenge. Known for strategic judgment, rigorous issue spotting, and meticulous attention to detail, she builds robust administrative records and crafts pathways to approvals while positioning projects for defensibility if challenged.
Drawing on an appellate and commercial litigation background, Megan is adept at handling complex administrative proceedings and litigation, including appeals, and has authored dispositive motions, amicus briefs, and appellate briefs in high-stakes matters. Her recent experience includes eminent domain actions, special assessment disputes, and energy litigation. She partners closely with project teams to simplify complex technical issues, mitigate risk, preserve schedules, and protect project value.
Megan maintains an active pro bono practice, including impact litigation for victims of domestic violence.
