Josh Gold-Quirós manages high-profile international trademark portfolios across a broad range of industries such as technology, consumer products, sports and entertainment, apparel and footwear, and commercial real estate. Clients rely on Josh for practical, business-focused advice on brand strategy, including trademark selection, clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and licensing across key global markets.
Josh has particular experience resolving online trademark and copyright infringement and successfully pursuing and defending domain name arbitration actions before the World Intellectual Property Organization under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy. He also represents clients in domestic trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and works with foreign counsel to manage corresponding proceedings abroad. In addition, Josh conducts comprehensive due diligence and risk assessment reviews of IP as part of major corporate transactions.
Josh currently serves on the International Trademark Association’s Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee.
