Introduction
Jorge is an associate in the Technology Transactions & Privacy practice.
Jorge Ortiz helps clients develop products and services, advising on laws governing data privacy, AI, health data, connected devices, and advertising. He drafts and revises data governance and AI use policies, privacy notices, cookie banners and notices, risk assessments, and data processing agreements.
Jorge has experience counseling on the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Washington My Health My Data Act, and the Colorado AI Act.
A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Jorge was a member of the Virginia Journal of Law & Technology. While in law school, he also served as vice president for the school’s Law, Innovation, Security, & Technology organization.
