Jeffrey is a dual-qualified structured products lawyer advising global investment banks on program establishment, renewal, and documentation across EU and UK markets.
Jeffrey Yow has extensive experience acting for global investment banks on the establishment and renewal of their structured products program for both retail and wholesale markets across the EU and in the UK. He focuses on structured securities linked to a range of underlying reference assets such as equities, funds, commodities, foreign exchange, indices, reference rates and credit, and across various product wrappers. He has also advised on the documentation of proprietary strategies.
Jeffrey studied Law at the London School of Economics on an undergraduate scholarship from the Central Bank of Malaysia and upon graduation, joined the Central Bank as an in-house lawyer for its investment and treasury operations. Prior to joining Ashurst Perkins Coie in London, Jeffrey worked at a leading regional law firm in Singapore focusing on financial services regulation and OTC derivatives. Jeffrey is qualified in both England & Wales and Singapore.
