Introduction
Edlene is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice.
Edlene Miguel earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, president of the Intellectual Property Law Society, president of Women in Technology Law, and director of the Board of Advocates Technology & IP branch.
Prior to law school, she worked as a software engineer developing data-driven personalized healthcare software used in medical diagnostics. She holds a M.C.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in applied math from Mary Baldwin University.
In 2023 and 2024, Edlene was a summer associate at Perkins Coie’s Palo Alto office and law clerk in the Patent Prosecution & Portfolio Counseling practice.
