Introduction

Camille focuses her practice on complex litigation with an emphasis on insurance coverage disputes.

With more than 15 years of experience in complex insurance litigation, Camille Fisher is a distinguished insurance recovery lawyer who has dedicated her career to advocating for policyholders of all sizes in high-stakes coverage disputes. Her strategic approach to policyholder advocacy has yielded more than a billion dollars in recoveries for her clients—a testament to both her command of the law and her effectiveness at the negotiating table.

Camille brings extensive experience across the full spectrum of coverage lines, including commercial general liability, first-party property, business interruption, directors and officers, errors and omissions, and cyber liability. Early in her career, Camille carved out a distinctive niche representing policyholders in London arbitrations seeking coverage under Bermuda Form policies for alleged bodily injury and property damage claims. Her deep familiarity with the Bermuda Form's unique features—its hybrid application of New York contract law and English litigation procedure, its specialized "occurrence" and "notice" language, and the complex interplay among the various excess layers—has made her a sought-after practitioner in this rarified field. In addition to her international arbitration work, Camille handles domestic disputes in both federal and state courts across the United States. Many of her matters resolve favorably through negotiation, often before costly trial proceedings or even before formal litigation is initiated.

Beyond litigation and dispute resolution, Camille's practice encompasses the full life cycle of insurance coverage. She regularly assists clients with procuring policies, securing renewals, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate limits of liability, and drafting policy language designed to minimize the risk of future litigation. This holistic approach allows Camille to protect her clients' interests from the inception of coverage through the resolution of any claims that may arise.

Camille is a member of Ashurst Perkins Coie’s Seattle Diversity Committee and chairs the firm’s Native American Resource Group. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on constitutional rights and the child welfare system.
