Grace Han Stanton counsels clients, ranging from emerging companies to Fortune 500 and other public companies, in a wide variety of industries, including wineries, technology, and consumer products. She advises on domestic and international trademark and brand strategy, clearance, selection, prosecution, registration, protection, enforcement, and licensing, and brings deep experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional IP portfolios and enforcement actions across key global markets. She also handles copyright protection, registration, licensing, and enforcement across multiple industries. She conducts comprehensive due diligence reviews of IP as part of major corporate transactions, such as financing, initial public offerings, and M&As. 

Grace is chair of Ashurst Perkins Coie’s Apparel & Footwear industry group.

Trademark License Agreement for Pyramid Breweries, Inc.

Negotiated significant trademark and publicity license agreement as part of a multimillion dollar acquisition of a beer brewing company.

K Vintners Trademark Agreement

Negotiated worldwide trademark coexistence agreement involving key trademarks and brands on behalf of a winery client, between it and a third-party company, which resulted in resolution of an initial trademark dispute.

iBahn Corporation Trademark Re-brand

Managed a major re-brand for an international communication network company, involving domestic and international clearance, selection of a new corporate name, mark and logo, and trademark filings. Facilitated associated international trademark registration strategy and filings.
