Introduction

Amanda assists clients with privacy compliance relating to their products and services, as well as structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.

Amanda Mobrand works with clients to develop global privacy compliance strategies under Section 5 of the FTC Act, emerging U.S. state privacy laws, and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. She also assesses data sharing practices, prepares privacy policies and notices, and drafts and negotiates agreements involving data protection and privacy terms. 

Amanda advises clients on general commercial and product counseling matters, including preparing consumer-facing terms and supporting clients with their product and feature launches. 

Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Amanda worked as in-house counsel, including as privacy counsel for a Washington-based technology company.
