Introduction

Alina focuses on technology transactions within the life sciences, biotechnology, material sciences, and complex service delivery industries.

Alina Adams advises clients on transactional matters that include patent and trade secret licensing. She assists with collaborations from product development to commercialization, including research and development collaborations; supply, distribution, and manufacturing agreements; sponsored research agreements; clinical trial agreements; and material transfer agreements. 

Alina has experience drafting and negotiating commercial, IP, and technology agreements that help bring novel technologies to market. She has done work involving innovative therapeutics, including cancer therapeutics utilizing in vivo CAR-T cell engineering, diagnostics, and immune-enhancing technologies. Alina also has experience securing the IP rights and manufacturing capacity for the next generation of advanced AI-optimized chips. 

In addition, Alina advises on IP aspects of M&As and strategic investments. She has previously represented life science biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in complex commercial and patent infringement disputes. She has also been involved in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) trials and proceedings before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
