Adam advises governments, sponsors and lenders on complex construction, infrastructure and energy transactions across the Middle East and Africa.

Adam Reda is a counsel in the projects and energy transition practice. Adam is a project development lawyer with a particular focus on transactional construction work.

He advises on a wide range of procurement strategies, concession agreements, construction & engineering contracts (including FEED, EPC, EPCM, D&B and DBOM), O&M contracts and framework agreements across a broad range of industry sectors, including oil & gas, utilities, power, metals, transport and social infrastructure.

  • Dubai Municipality | Advising in respect of the procurement of the Dubai Strategic Sewerage Tunnels project, involving the development of hundreds of kilometers of deep lying, gravity fed sewers under Dubai.
  • A national oil company | Advised in relation to procurement, development and financing and transfer of two independent sub-sea HVDC current systems, comprising of cables and onshore and offshore converter stations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This was first greenfield sub-sea HVDC project to be project financed globally.
  • A national oil company and TAQA | Advised on the procurement of "Project Wave", a US$2.2 billion water treatment and pipeline project to replace fossil aquifer water with treated seawater for onshore oilfield injection.
  • EWEC and Tadweer | Advised in relation to the Abu Dhabi WTE IPP, the first waste to energy project to be procured in Abu Dhabi.
  • A lender group | Advised the lenders on the project financing of the development, design, engineering, and commissioning of the Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Project, a greenfield industrial steam, water and electric cogeneration plant and seawater desalination plant in Saudi Arabia, procured by Saudi Aramco.
  • Vision Invest | Advised on the development and financing of the Tatweer Schools PPPs (Wave 1 and 2), the first schools PPP projects to be procured in Saudi Arabia.
  • ITOCHU | Advised on its joint venture with Emsteel for the development of a low carbon iron project in Abu Dhabi.
  • Mota-Engil and Trafigura | Advised in respect of the construction arrangements for the Lobito Corridor project, comprising a 1,300km railway line and port project connecting the mineral rich areas of South-East DRC to the port of Lobito on the north Angolan coast.
