  • Ark Energy: Advised Ark Energy on its investment in a 30% interest in the 923.4MW MacIntyre Wind Farm in Queensland, Australia. Dan's work included advising on the procurement and other issues for the MacIntyre Wind Farm, which will be one of the largest onshore wind farms in the southern hemisphere. It will provide renewable energy to power the equivalent of 630,000 homes annually.
  • Ark Energy: Advising on the procurement phase of the Boomer Green Energy Hub, which will comprise of a wind farm and battery energy storage system (BESS) to be developed in Queensland. The wind farm will comprise up to 151 wind turbine generators and supply approximately 1,150 megawatts of renewable energy to the national electricity grid.
  • Ark Energy: Advised Ark Energy (as part of the Consortium) on the structuring of the Han-Ho H2 Hub in Queensland, which is an export scale green hydrogen project. 
  • AMPYR Australia: Advising on the development of the 300MW/600MWh Bulabul Battery (also known as Wellington Stage 1 BESS) Project in New South Wales. This will be one of the largest energy storage projects in the State and once developed, will support renewable generation and contribute to improved reliability for the electricity grid.
  • Revera Energy: Advised on the 250MW / 500Wh Bungama BESS in South Australia, which is a multi-stage project that will support energy security and reliability of renewable energy in South Australia.
  • CS Energy: Advising on its large-scale BESS projects located at Chinchilla and Greenbank in Queensland.
  • CS Energy: Advised CS Energy on its acquisition of a 50% interest in the Boulder Creek Wind Farm from Aula Energy including the establishment of joint venture arrangements to progress the development, construction and operation of the wind farm.
  • Cubico Sustainable Investments: Advised on the development, operations and joint venture arrangements for the circa A$700 million Wambo Wind Farm Stage 1 and Stage 2. This is the first energy project developed by the Queensland Government in JV with the private sector in 21 years. As the lead project partner, Dan also led and coordinated a multidisciplinary team across workstreams both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the project.
  • EnergyAustralia: Advised EnergyAustralia on its joint venture with a wholly owned subsidiary of Électricité de France (EDF), EDF power solutions Australia, to co-develop and deliver the Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Energy Storage project (LLPHES) in Lithgow. If developed, the Project would be capable of producing 385 megawatts (MW) of reliable dispatchable energy – enough to supply over 250,000 homes in New South Wales (NSW) for up to eight hours.
  • Lightsource bp: Advised Lightsource bp, a London-headquartered global renewable energy developer, in relation to the development of the 222 MW/444 MWh Woolooga BESS in Queensland.
  • Shell: Advised Shell on its joint development arrangements for its 500MW/1000MWh Wallerawang 9 BESS in New South Wales.
  • Someva Renewables: Advised on its bid for access rights in the South West Renewable Energy Zone and development of the Pottinger Energy Park.
  • Vena Energy: Advised on the development of the Tailem Bend II Solar and Storage Project (TB2SP) which has an estimated generation capacity of 87 megawatts (MWac), with a peak capacity of 118MW. The TB2SP includes provisions for a 40MW BESS and will connect to the NEM via ElectraNet’s Tailem Bend Substation.
  • Vena Energy: Advised on the development of the Wandoan South Solar Farm and BESS. The project consists of solar PV panels, which has a proposed generation capacity of 650 megawatts (MW) as well as a BESS that has a discharge capacity of up to 100MW and store 150MWh of energy.
  • Veolia – Gold Coast Waste Tender: Assisted Veolia on their bid for the City of Gold Coast's Resource Recovery Services Tender comprising Resource Recovery and Commodity Logistics, Green Organics Processing, Operation and Maintenance of Landfill and Materials Facilities and Resource Recovery Program Management.
  • Sydney Metro's Barangaroo Station Development | Advised on its Barangaroo Station Development, a $217 million contract that was developed 30 meters underground and was built to improve pedestrian connections to the northern part of the Sydney CBD and The Rocks, and alleviates congestion at Wynyard and Martin Place Stations
  • Acciona – Brisbane Metro | Advised on preparing suite of bespoke construction and procurement contracts for the $900 million Brisbane Metro project.
  • Port of Brisbane | Advised on preparing suite of standard form construction and procurement documents.
  • Tallawarra B Funding Agreement | Advising on its development of the Funding Agreement for Tallawarra B, Australia's first green hydrogen and gas power plant. The Project will deliver enough electricity to power around 150,000 homes, and is expected to deliver a $300 million boost to the economy and support about 250 jobs during construction.
